Gator Tales is an effort by the entire Fishman Family, Gary Fishman, father, Linda Fishman, mother and educator, and their children  Kyle and Andrea. Our goals are to have children reading and parents reading to their children good quality, educational books with positive messages. Linda Rochette Fishman with nearly 30 years of classroom teaching experience adds definite credibility to this series of children's books. As one can see with the unique, imaginative, colorful pencil drawings, Linda makes the characters come to life on the pages.
          The correct definition of a quality young children's book is a short, captivating story with colorful pictures and good educational messages. These Gator Tales are produced for the purpose of being read to young children right after birth. Reading to a child, it has been found, relaxes the child and accustoms the child to the reader's voice. Later the illustrations become an attraction and inspiration for young artists.
          Gary Fishman, a co-author, believes that we as parents and caregivers have an opportunity to pass on to our children one of the most important tools in life, reading. The memory of being read to and the pride gained learning how to read will be irreplaceable in a child's life. Gator Tales is honored to be chosen for those special moments shared with children. Gary and Linda Fishman have practiced what they preach and their children Kyle and Andrea Fishman are straight-A students in school. Kyle and Andrea attribute their abilities and success to being read to and reading at an early age.
          The Fishman Family lives in Boynton Beach, Florida and in their backyard nature abounds. At any moment, it is not uncommon for the Fishman's to see passing by their dock the alligators, possums, turtles, ducks, snails, frogs, raccoons, snakes, and pelicans who are brought to life in their books. Books are constantly being read and knowledge and advancement are strived for. Learning in our family is fun and has become as much a part of our lives as eating and sleeping. We wish for every family to have children enjoy learning as much as ours'.
